Each BY MONSIEUR piece is handcrafted with care, using natural leathers that may show subtle variations in colour or texture — unique characteristics that speak to their authenticity.
Because every item is made to order or in very limited quantities, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges, except in the rare case of a craftsmanship issue.
Please note: all sales at markets are final.
If you believe your piece has a fault, please contact us within 7 days of purchase or delivery at info@bymonsieur.ca, including photos and a brief description. Approved returns must be sent back in their original condition and packaging. Return shipping costs are at the customer’s expense. We recommend using a tracked service to ensure the safe return of your piece.
Custom orders
Each custom BY MONSIEUR piece is handcrafted to your specifications, making it truly one of a kind.
Because these items are made to order, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges. We recommend reviewing all details carefully before confirming your order.
If you wish to request changes — for example, measurements for belts or other adjustments — please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate changes before production begins or while crafting is in progress, but some requests may not be feasible once the piece is underway.
Typical turnaround times are approximately 3 weeks for small leather goods and 5–6 weeks for bags. We will keep you informed throughout the process and notify you when your piece is ready for collection or delivery.

At BY MONSIEUR, every leather piece is designed to last and evolve beautifully with time. As a token of appreciation, we offer complimentary annual conditioning for all BY MONSIEUR leather bags within the Vancouver region.
