RETURN POLICY
Each BY MONSIEUR piece is handcrafted with care, using natural leathers that may show subtle variations in colour or texture — unique characteristics that speak to their authenticity.
Can I return or exchange my item?
Because every item is made to order or in very limited quantities, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges, except in the rare case of a craftsmanship issue.
Are market sales final?
Yes. All sales made at markets are final.
What if I believe my piece has a fault?
Please contact us within 7 days of purchase or delivery at info@bymonsieur.ca, including photos and a brief description. Approved returns must be sent back in their original condition and packaging. Return shipping costs are at the customer’s expense, and we recommend using a tracked service to ensure the safe return of your piece.
CUSTOM ORDERS
Can I return or exchange a custom order?
Each custom BY MONSIEUR piece is handcrafted to your specifications, making it truly one of a kind. Because these items are made to order, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges.
Can I make changes to my custom order?
If you wish to request changes — for example, measurements for belts or other adjustments — please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate modifications before production begins or while crafting is in progress, but some requests may not be feasible once the piece is underway.
How long will my custom order take?
Typical turnaround times are approximately 3 weeks for small leather goods and 5–6 weeks for bags. We will keep you informed throughout the process and notify you when your piece is ready for collection or delivery.
GIFT CARDS
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes. Our exclusive leather gift cards, available with an embossed value between $150 and $1500, make a meaningful and lasting gift.
Can I get a refund for a gift card?
Gift cards are non-refundable and non-redeemable for cash.
Can gift cards be used for custom orders?
Yes. Gift cards can be applied toward both ready-made pieces and custom orders.
What happens if my purchase total is less than the value of my gift card?
Any remaining balance will be issued as store credit, which can be applied to a future order.
Do gift cards expire?
Yes. BY MONSIEUR gift cards are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase. We encourage recipients to take their time selecting or commissioning a piece that feels truly personal.
